At the Limits of Light

In the nightside he wanders
Afar from home
In the glare of the crimson moon

He heads into the unknown
With fire in his eyes
In search of the gleam so pure

Where am I?

What am I? But a creation of flesh and bone
A reflection of the life which I scorn

Step by step, these attributes I've removed
To the ancient chaos I return

At the end of my own horizon
I've reached the limits of light

As I head into our blissful mothers night
